Bermuda National Gymnastics Championships 2025

33 gymnasts from ages 5 to 14 competed this past Saturday 5/17/25 at Bermuda National Gymnastics Championships hosted by the Bermuda Gymnastics Federation. 

Bronze level all ages results:  

Evelyn Howarth (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) 8 yrs came out as the Bermuda National Bronze level all-around champion with a score of 38.00. She also claimed first place on floor with a score of 9.65. She rounded out the meet with 2nd on Vault (9.6), 3rd on Bars (9.3tie) and 3rd on Beam. (9.45 tie)

Satya Tuzo-Smith age 7 (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) finished 2nd all around with a score of 37.85. She finished 3rd on vault (9.5), 3rd on uneven bars (9.3 tie) 3rd on balance beam (9.3 tie), 2nd on floor exercise (9.6 tie)

Jodie Denton, age 8, finished third all around with a score of 37.6. She also finished 2nd on balance beam (9.5), 3rd on Floor exercise (9.55)

Indigo Kemp age 8 clinched individual national event titles with 1st place on both vault (9.70) and uneven bars (9.55)

Emma Wright finished first place for the individual balance beam title (9.7)

Raelyn Robinson age 7 finished 2nd on uneven bars (9.45) and 2nd on floor exercise (9.6 tie)

Honorable mention athletes who competed were:

Finley Gilmar, Abigail Livingston, Olivia Simons, Arianna Whyte, and Freya Morgan (all from Bermuda Gymnastics Association)

Silver level all ages results

Tyla Foote (Quality Gymnastics) age 8 took home the silver level National all-around title with a score of 36.85. She also claimed the individual event titles on Vault (9.3) and balance Beam (9.1) She also finished in second place on both uneven bars (9.45) and Floor exercise (9.0)

Ty-Leah Trott (Quality Gymnastics) age 7 took second place all around with a score of 36.6.  She finished third on Vault (9.0), 2nd on balance beam (9.0) and claimed individual event titles on bars (9.5) and floor (9.1)

Lily Hall (Quality Gymnastics) age 11 finished 3rd all around with a score of 35.75.  She placed 2nd on vault (9.1 tie), and 3rd on bars.

Notable finishes were: 

Jasmyne Walters (Quality Gymnastics) age 10, 2nd on vault (9.1tie). Mia Dunley-Owen (Quality Gymnastics) 2nd on vault (9.1 tie) and 3rd on balance beam (8.8). Courtney Burgess (Quality Gymnastics) age 8, 3rd on vault (9.0 tie). Georgia Rose (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 10 finished 3rd on both balance beam (8.8 tie) and floor (8.95)

Honorable mention competitors were:  Gemma Vickers (Quality Gymnastics) age 10

Gold level all ages:

Sofia Cooper (Quality Gymnastics) age 9 cemented the gold all around title with a score of 37.05. She also finished first on floor (9.55). She also finished 2nd on vault (9.3) and uneven bars (9.15) 

Ashanti-Sarai Darko (Quality Gymnastics) age 11 finished 2nd all around with a score of 37.00.  She claimed the individual national title on both vault (9.45) and balance beam (9.35) 

Samantha Tolosa (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 10 finished 3rd all around with a score of 36.8.  She finished 1st on uneven bars (9.25) and 3rd on floor (9.45)

Notable finishes were:

Isobel Stones (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 11 finished 3rd on vault (9.25) and beam (9.15) and 2nd on floor exercise (9.5). Nicole Burrows (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 14 2nd on beam (9.3) and Fallow Wooley (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 13 finished 3rd on bars (9.1)

Honorable mention athletes are:

Eleanor Garcia (Quality), Maddie Pritchard (BGA), Annie Archibald (Quality), Nea Fosker (BGA), Sadie Hocking (BGA) and McKenna Redcliffe (BGA)

Level 6 all ages results:

Eva Wright (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 12 claimed the National all around championship with a score of 36.35. She also claimed the bar title with a score of 8.75. She finished 2nd on vault (8.9), beam (9.2) and Floor (9.5)

Cassie Mayers (Bermuda Gymnastics Association) age 11 finished 2nd all around just one tenth behind her teammate with an all-around score of 36.25. She claimed the national event titles on Vault (8.95), balance beam (9.6) and floor (9.6). She finished 2nd on bars with an 8.1.

Congratulations to all athletes who participated this weekend. The next meet will be CARIFTA Games 2025, December 5-7th in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
