2026 Bermuda International Gymnastics Competition
38 gymnasts from ages 6 to 13 competed this past Saturday 4/18,2026 at Bermuda Gymnastics Association for its annual Bermuda International Gymnastics Challenge.
The excitement began at 12:30PM with the bronze, Platinum and level 6 gymnasts from both Bermuda Gymnastics (coached by Jason Parker, and Becky Wentling) and Quality Gymnastics (Coached by Fred Nicholas ) vying for the top spots.
Bronze level all ages results:
Vault: 1st. place was Finley Gilmar 7 yrs (BGA). Score of 9.75. 2nd place was Caroline Thompson 10 yrs Score of 9.5 (BGA). 3rd. place Freya Morgan 6 yrs (BGA)
Bars: 1st. place Finley Gilmar 7 yrs (BGA) score of 9.3. 2nd place Olivia Simons 10yrs (BGA) score of 9.0. 3rd place Spencer Holland 12 yrs (Quality) score of 9.2. (Tie was broken by the highest all around)
Beam: 1st place Finley Gilmar 7yrs (BGA) score of 9.2. 2nd place Olivia Simons 10yrs (BGA) score of 9.0. 3rd place Caroline Thompson 10 yrs (BGA) score of 8.9.

Bars: 1st place Evelyn Howarth with the highest score in the meet on any event for the second year in a row, 8yrs (BGA) score of 9.85. 2nd place Emma Wright 10yrs (BGA) score of 9.55. 3rd place Indigo Kemp 8 yrs (BGA) score of 9.45.

Bermuda Gymnastics Associations competitive gymnasts will be participating in the 2026 Burlington Spring Cup, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada April 24th. through the 26th.
The gymnasts of Bermuda Gymnastics Association and Quality Gymnastics will be moving on to the Bermuda National Championships on May 2nd. All are invited to attend.

2nd Annual Carifta Games for Gymnastics, December 6–7, 2025 in Couva, Trinidad was a big success.

The 15 gymnasts under the mentorship of Becky Wentling and Frederick Nicolas, went head-to-head against competitors from Bahamas, Curaçao, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and the host nation. …

Nicholas was impressed by the adaptability shown by the team amid the challenges they faced.

Bermuda to Carifta Games Gymnastics in Trinidad
Fifteen talented gymnasts from Bermuda are gearing up to compete at the 2nd Annual Carifta Games for Gymnastics, which will take place December 6–7, 2025 in Couva, Trinidad.
This prestigious competition will see gymnasts from across the Caribbean showcasing their skills, ranging from the USAG Level 1 to the FIG Junior & Senior Elite levels.
Our young Bermudian team is eagerly preparing to shine on the international stage, with gymnasts competing from USAG Level 1 to Level 6.
For some of our athletes, this will be their first taste of international competition, while others will be proudly representing Bermuda for the second time.
It is an incredible opportunity for them to demonstrate their dedication, hard work, and passion for gymnastics.
We are all rooting for our team as they embark on this thrilling journey. Their commitment and enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and we have no doubt that they will make Bermuda proud.
Let’s cheer them on as they soar to new heights at the Carifta Games!

Bermuda at PAGU Congress
Bermuda is very involved with the Pan American Gymnastics Union (UPAG), the official governing body for Gymnastics in the Americas.
Our President, Julie Bortoli, attended the 2025 Congress, subsidized by PAGU. It was held in Panama City in conjunction with PanAm Championships.
Gymnastics in the Americas is booming.
