BGA at Burlington Spring Cup 2025

Gymnasts from Bermuda Gymnastics Association competed in the Burlington Spring Cup in Burlington, Ontario, Canada on Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th.

11 athletes competed this past weekend under the direction of coach Becky Wentling.

Bronze results:

Emma Wright age 9 finished 1st all around in her age group with a score of 38.25  

Her events were Vault: 9.575 (4th place) Bars: 9.6 (5th place) Beam: 9.725 (1st place) Floor:  9.35 (1st place)

Satya Tuzo-Smith age 7 finished 2nd all around in her age group with a score of 37.125.  

Her events were: Vault:  9.125 (1st place) Bars: 9.5 (4th place) Beam:  9.2 (2nd place) floor:  9.3 (3rd place)

Rounding out the bronze group was Jodie Denton age 7:  Her scores were:  All around:  36.225 (9th) vault: 8.625 (9th) Bars: 9.475 (7th) Beam: 9.05 (7th) Floor: 9.075 (8th)

Gold results:

Maddie Pritchard age 8 with a clean sweep of first place on every event: (The youngest competitor at her level) All around: 34.775  Vault: 8.8  Bars: 8.8 Beam: 8.8  Floor:  8.85

Samantha Tolosa age 10:  All around:  35.775 (5th) Vault: 8.725 (6th) Bars: 9.475 (3rd) Beam: 8.925 (4th) Floor: 8.65 (9th)

Fallon Wooley age 12: All around:  34.1 (6th) Vault: 8.2 (9th) Bars: 8.8 (5th) Beam: 8.075 (8th) Floor: 9.025 (6th)

Ellise Leamey age 12:  All around:  30.8 (11th) Vault:  8.3 (8th)  Bars: 6.775 (9th) Beam: 7.325 (11th) Floor:  8.4 (10th) 

Nicole Burrows age 14:  All around: 33.85 (9th)  Vault: 8.0 (10th) Bars:  9.175 (5th) Beam:  8.225 (5th) Floor:  8.45 (9th)

Sadie Hocking age 13:  All around:  32.275 Vault: 7.75 (10) Bars:  8.05 (7th) Beam: 7.825 (9th) Floor:  8.65 (7th)

McKenna Redcliffe age 13:  All around:  32.225 (12th) Vault: 8.1 (9th) Bars: 8.3 (6th) Beam: 7.725 (11th) Floor: 8.1 (11th)

Level 6 athlete Eva Wright age 12:  All around: 33.175 (10th) Vault: 8.8 (8th) Bars: 7.575 (10th) Beam:  7.575 (12th) Floor:  9.225 (5th)

The next competition is Bermuda National Championships which will be held at the St. Davids Bermuda Gymnastics Association on May 17th.

Bermuda Competes 1st CARIFTA Championships

Everyone is thrilled that Artistic Gymnastics has launched an annual CARIFTA (Caribbean Free Trade Association) Championships. We join a number of other top Olympic sports in helping build this regional competition.

Bermuda’s gymnasts impressed at the inaugural Carifta Gymnastics Championships, winning nine medals. including finishing third in the Level 4 team event.
